Lord Saneeshwaran blesses His devotees with the name Kanaha in this temple. Lord Saneeshwaran controls over life span, job, and pain and pleasure in the life of an individual.
History of the Temple:
The Tamil King Nalan under went great troubles and difficulties in his life when he was under the possession of Lord Saneeshwaran. He visited this temple and worshiped Lord Dharbharayeshwarar. Hence, Lord instructed Lord Saturn not to trouble the King Nalan. As per His words, Saturn blessed King Nalan from this temple. Since that event Lord Saturn blesses his devotees permanently from this temple. A dip in the holy pond “Nala Theertham” is considered mandatory before the worship of the God in the Temple.
Lord Saneeshwaran takes thirty years to cross all the twelve grahas. It does not mean that an individual experiences thirty years of joy or thirty years of difficulty rather Lord Saneeshwaran takes care of people during His presence in a particular graha. He stands responsible for both pain and gain, good and evil in the life of a person. Mangusani: The period of first seven and half years is noted as Mangusani which means a fall or decline of fortune in one’s life. Lord Saneeshwaran in this period troubles the people who are under the possession of Him but here Lord Saneeshwaran preserves the parents of an individual.
Pongusani: The period of next seven years is noted as Pongusani which means a raise of fortune in the life of an individual through Lord Saneeshwaran. Here Lord Saneeshwaran brings a remarkable development, a miraculous difference in the life of a person who is under the possession of Him.
Among other grahas, Lord Saneeshwaran is more powerful. In order to receive the complete benefits in life through Lord Saneeshwaran, right remedies should be performed on time to overcome the difficulties due to the Sani Graha Dhosha. When you perform the remedies, the amount of negative impact reduces to certain level to experience harmony in life. Except Rahu, Kedu, Lord Saneeshwaran is considered the strongest of all.
Lord Saneeshwaran is so glorious. His glance is very different. His role in both good and evil in life is very vital. This is the reason we all have dreadful feeling towards Lord Saneeshwaran. Lord Sooriyan sends his race in all directions. The colour of it looks red. Lord Budhan out of his heat emits green colour around him. Sukiran spreads white around him. Earth in pink colour (Ilansivappu), Chadhiran also reflects white out the his absorption of Sun’s race on him.
Guru in yellow colour and Lord Saneeshwaran has darkish blue around him. The colour itself sends a fear on us. All the graha shave particular shape of their own. But the shape of Lord Saneeshwaran is not attractive as other grahas to the eye of its on lookers. The natural formation of circle around him also is a reason to lead him to appear so.
When planet Saturn comes around the Sun a poisonous gas spreads in its way. It exactly looks like the gas released from a Jet. This poisonous gas is called Marees. It looks utter dark, complete black in colour. The reflection of Saneeshwaran seems as illusion which / brings fear. All of us experience it on Earth. Lord Saneeshwaran is the son of Lord Sun.
The divine words of Maha Shiva Nadi directs people to Thirunallaru to perform remedies to reduce the negative impact of Sani Graha Dhodha.
